BoozmanHof History

BoozmanHof has been providing world-class eye care to the people of Northwest Arkansas for over 30 years. Throughout our history, our doctors have served as leaders in eye care, and offered advanced diagnostic techniques and medical and surgical treatments long before they became available to most patients in the United States. Our doctors continue to be recognized both nationally and internationally for their medical expertise and scientific contributions to the ophthalmic community.

BoozmanHof's primary focus has always been our patients. We seek to not only provide outstanding eye care, but also the finest patient service anywhere. We think of our patients as friends and extended family. As a result, public service has been a natural extension of who we are.

As a testament to these ideals, in 1998, co-founder Dr. Fay Boozman was appointed by Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee to be the Director of the Arkansas Department of Health. Following his untimely death in 2005, the University of Arkansas College of Public Health was named in his honor.

In 2001, John Boozman ran as the Republican candidate in the special election for U.S. Representative for the Third Congressional District. Since his victory in this election, he has devoted himself to full-time public service. In 2010, he was elected to the U.S. Senate in a landslide.

Lastly, our Christian values have always been a defining characteristic of BoozmanHof. We strive to maintain the highest level of medical ethics and integrity. Our doctors are mission-minded, and have trained doctors and provided medical care to patients all over the world.
