Darren L. Brodie, O.D.

Dr. Brodie specializes in comprehensive optometric care. His special interests include: dry eyes, glaucoma, contact lens management, and perioperative cataract and refractive surgery eye care.

Dr. Brodie received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He is also a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been awarded numerous scholarships and academic awards, including the Arkansas Young Optometrist of the Year in 2002 and the Air Force Achievement Medal.

Dr. Brodie joined BoozmanHof in January 1994. He previously managed the BoozmanHof optical department for several years. Dr. Brodie currently serves our country in the Air National Guard, and is the Clinical Director of the Optometry Clinic for the 188th Fighter Wing. He was the first Clinical Director for the Opening Eyes Foundation and Special Olympics. He leads and participates in medical mission trips to Honduras and Guatemala.

Dr. Brodie is a past president of the Arkansas Optometric Association, and is currently a member of the American Optometric Association. His research interests include perioperative cataract and refractive surgery management and innovative new treatments in glaucoma and macular degeneration. He is married and has two children.
