Kory Allen, O.D.
Dr. Allen, originally from Texas, received her Bachelor of Science at Texas A&M University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, graduating with honors. Dr. Allen then moved to Northwest Arkansas and went on to complete a post-doctorate residency training in primary eye care and ocular disease at the Fayetteville VAMC.
While at Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Allen was involved in the American Optometric Student Association, Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society, Omega Delta Social Fraternity and Private Practice Club. Dr. Allen served both locally and internationally as a student. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry as well as a member of the American Optometric Association and Arkansas Optometric Association. She has traveled on two optometric mission trips, providing eyecare to those underserved in Belize and Bolivia.
Dr. Allen’s husband, Spencer, also works in health care. In their free time, Dr. Allen and Spencer enjoy spending time with their two adopted dogs, family and friends, being active, traveling and cooking.
