Flexible Spending
& Health Savings Accounts
If your employer offers a Flex Plan or Health Savings Account, these can often be used toward elective procedures such as Laser Vision Correction. These plans allow you to put aside part of your earnings in a tax-free account to use within a specified timeframe. Before you enroll in your plan, make sure you fully understand all of the rules of the plan and make sure you are a good candidate for Laser Vision Correction surgery. You will have to use your FSA funds (have your procedure) before the time limit runs out.
