Mellinda Stewart, O.D.
Dr. Stewart is a comprehensive optometric physician. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in Houston, TX, and her doctorate of optometry from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX.
While attending school, she was an officer in the SVOSH student chapter, volunteering in several local vision screenings as well as raising money for Optometry Giving Sight. She is a student fellow of the American Optometric Association and was chosen for the Honors and Leadership program at her school.
After graduation, she continued her studies by completing a residency in Ocular Disease at the Salem VAMC in Salem, Virginia, which specialized in conditions such as Glaucoma and Macular degeneration.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Arkansas Optometric Association.
When she isn’t in the clinic, she enjoys spending time at home with her husband and two cats.
